LODGINGS:  Hotels. Comfortable tourist class (mostly 3-star). Air-conditioned or fans where needed, with rare exception. According to Vietnamese custom find you often use a thermos with hot water and a box of tea in your room. The bathroom often contains soap, shampoo, a comb, and toothbrushes. For a night in  May Chau we do not stay in a hotel, but in a traditional stilt houses. We sleep in a common room with other travelers
