In the bustling Mekong Delta we bike through sugar cane, coconut and fruit plantations,and lush green rice fields. The "rice barn of Vietnam" is mostly flat and can be easily biked. You will bike through villages, cross rivers by ferry, and communicate with the  talkative Delta residents, with your hands. Our trip winds down at the beautiful beach of Mui Ne.

GUIDE:  Dutch tour leader accompanies the group.
LODGINGS:  There are rooms reserved in centrally located, comfortable hotels, from which you easily bike or walk into the city. The double rooms have a private shower and toilet and most are air conditioned.  Typical in Vietnam, you will find a thermos of hot water and a box of tea in your room. The bathroom facilities often contain soap, shampoo, a comb, and toothbrushes. In Ben Tre we stay in a simple "home stay" and Ong Ho, nicknamed Tiger Island, we stay one night with a local family. In Cambodia you will bike among the wondrous ruins of Angkor Wat.

PRIVATE TOURS/CUSTOM DATE:  If you have a party of 8 or more, you can book almost any of Djoser’s group programs on a private basis. In this case we would use  a local guide(s). Lodging upgrades or smaller group size (when possible) would incur additional costs.

The land program begins depending on the flight arrival time of the Dutch participants who fly together from Amsterdam. The group will typically meet about 2 to 3 hours after their arrival, at the hotel. If they have a late evening arrival, the program will begin early the next morning. Please note their scheduled flight times below to estimate your own flight times.

Schedule your flight to arrive prior to the Dutch participants so as not to  miss the first meeting, activity or transfer. If you need additional hotel nights at the beginning or end of the program, please inquire.
