On this bike tour through South Africa we cycle through national parks like the Tsitsikamma and Baboon Gap and make a trip to the Cape of Good Hope. We travel through the green Garden Route on the southern coast, see ostriches, vineyards, wild game and diverse landscapes.

GROUP SIZE: Min: 8 Max: 16
HIGHLIGHTS: Biking tour,spot baboons at Baboon Gorge, Garden Route, Addo Natinoal Park, South Africa vineyards and wineries, explore Cape Town, Ostrich farms, Cango Caves, elephants, rhinos, lions, buffalo, dolphin spotting.
DESCRIPTION: The package includes the use of a hybrid bike with gears. We cycle between 15 to 24 miles per day. The bike tours are available on site, depending on the wishes of the group and the possibilities to shorten or extend. We ride both flat and hilly terrain. We do not climb mountains (unless you choose to climb the Swartberg Pass), but there are some long slopes .

CHALLENGE LEVEL: Intermediate
GUIDE: Guide (speaks Dutch & English)
LODGINGS: In South Africa using various types of accommodation. We often stay in good, tourist-class hotels. In some places you stay overnight in a chalet or bungalow usually, with multiple companions. There is often a simple kitchen where you can make coffee and tea or even a complete meal. Generally there is a private shower / toilet. The chalets usually have a private terrace or patio and a braai (a barbecue grill). At the Baviaanskloof we stay in simple chalets with shared bath facilities.
INCLUSIVES: Hotel and chalet accommodations, bike rentals, transport, South African guide
EXCLUSIVES: International flights, other meals, optional excursions, entrance fees not specifically named, visa or exit taxes (when applicable) gratuities, personal expenses, etc.
