HIGHLIGHTS: Amman, ancient Roman theater, Kings Highway, mosaic of Madaba, Wadi Mujib gorge, , Dana Nature Reserve, Petra UNESCO World Heritage Site, Beidah "Little Petra", Wadi Rum, Bedouin life, follow the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia, Nabataean murals, graffit and temples. Bedouin tribes, desert trek, archaeological museum, excavations.
ACCOMMODATED NIGHTS: Aman (2), Dana Nature Reserve (1), Petra (1), Little Petra (1), Wadi Rum (2)

LODGINGS: During these tours we use comfortable hotels, mostly located within walking distance of attractions and entertainment and we stay overnight in tents. The rooms are equipped with standard twin beds and furniture and generally do not offer the luxuries TV and minibar. All rooms have a private shower and toilet. The hotels are generally air conditioned, except the hotel in Petra, where the nights quite cool given its location high in the mountains. Overnight trekking during these two nights we stay in tents, during the walk in the desert in Wadi Rum. There are no sanitary facilities available, but mattresses and blankets are provided. You may wish to bring your own sleep sack.
INCLUSIVES: The cost of a guide assisted land package includes Dutch tour leader (as a logistics coordinator, not a lecturer), local English speaking guide, Bedouin guide in Wadi Rum. city-to-city transport, hotels with breakfasts, camping accommodation, all meals in Wadi Rum. Airport transfers at beginning and end of land program.
