Your active vacation in Egypt begins in Cairo. Wander about the cozy bazaar of Cairo and visit the pyramids at Giza and Sakarra. At Aswan, make a trip on the Nile in a Felucca and an excursion to Abu Simbel is also possible. We sail to Aswan, with a Felucca on the Nile to Kom Ombo and Edfu. In Luxor, visit the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple. In the Sinai desert you can walk in Moses' footsteps and climb Mt. Sinai. Then relax in the Dahab and swim and snorkel in the Red Sea.  On this group tour of Egypt you will join adventurous travelers from Holland and Belgium.

LODGINGS:  In Egypt, we use three-star hotels. All rooms are equipped with shower / toilet and air conditioning. Overnight in Cairo, some groups stay in a colonial hotel in the city’s center where the glory of the past still defines the atmosphere. Other hotels in the capital are modern and equipped with all comforts. In Aswan you sleep in a comfortable hotel with swimming pool.In Sinai, we stay in a new hotel near the Catherine's Monastery. On the beach in Dahab is a new modern hotel located on a beautiful bay with a private beach, where a restaurant and a swimming pool are both available. On this 21-day trip we sail on feluccas. There are no bath facilities onboard therfore we make regular stops. There is one night when we sleep on the deck; you should take a sleeping bag.
