BOOKING PROCESS
•    All adults (18 or over) should read waiver and sign booking form. Those who are traveling for the first time with our international groups should pay special attention to the description of these active trips, and traveling with an international group.
•    Please complete/signed  booking form for all travelers appearing on this invoice.
•    Discounts apply to children under 18 (based on age at time of travel).
•    Send your form to us with a deposit of $350 per person to hold your place. Checks payable to DJOSER, INC.
•    Mail payments and signed booking form to: Djoser, 154 Woodgate Lane, Paoli, PA 19301, Booking Dept. 
•    Your balance is due 45 days prior to the departure of the trip.

•    We will notify you of receipt of your check and booking form. At this time we will inform you of the enrollment status of the trip (if this is a group trip). Some trips fill up many months in advance.
•    Please do not book your flight until you have written confirmation of the booking trip dates and booking status.  Avoid airline penalties. Be sure to check with your carrier regarding penalties for change or cancellations. 
•    If we do not reach our minimum number of participants by 30 days prior to the trip, the trip will be cancelled and we will return your deposit and payment, in full, or we can your payment to another trip, with your authorization.

CAN I BOOK A GROUP TRIP ON A PRIVATE BASIS?
Most trips listed as Group Trips can be arranged on a private basis for your group of 8 or more, or sometimes for as few as 5 or 6. We make certain modications for private groups of North Americans, which, with the size of your booking party, will determine pricing. Please call us to discuss. 

TRIP START DATES
Djoser provides the LAND PROGRAM ONLY.  You will need to procure your own flights from/to the United States. Our published dates indicate the the beginning of the LAND PROGRAM, or the first night of our program, in the destination country. If you are booking a PRIVATE TRIP, your start date should indicate the day you will arrive at the destination.

BILLING & COMMUNICATIONS
•    Invoices, receipts and information notices about your upcoming trip, will be sent to you via email.
•    Please be sure to enter our email addresses into your email address book so these important notices will not be filtered out as spam.   info@djoserusa.com  

INFO WE NEED FOR ALL TRAVELERS: PASSPORT DETAILS, EMERGENCY CONTACTS, INSURANCE INFO
After you have received booking confirmation, you will need to provide the following information for all travelers in your party.
•    Passport details
•    Your Emergency Contact information (in the U.S.)
•    Your insurance information. In the event of an accident, illness, or emergency during your trip, your tour leader should have contact and policy information for your carrier.
 
WAIVER & CANCELLATION TERMS

Waiver
I am aware that travel (whether in civilized or remote areas and regardless of the transportation conveyance) and participation particularly in adventure activities that may be planned on the trip (such as, but not limited to boating, snorkeling, trekking, hiking and animal viewing) contains inherent risks of illness (including, but not limited to, malaria), injury (including, but not limited to those caused or contributed by auto and/or absence of safety devices, such as seat belts or flotation devices), emotional trauma, and/or death, which may be caused by forces of nature or other agencies unknown. I recognize that such risks may be present at any time before, during and after the trip that I am participating in with Djoser, Inc., I am also aware that adequate medical services or facilities may not be readily available or accessible during some or all of the time in which I am participating in the trip, and that evacuation, if necessary, and if available, can be prolonged, difficult and expensive. I am also aware that in developing nations such as many of those served by Djoser, Inc., the level of infrastructure development, sense of urgency, communication skills, attention to detail, quality standards, hygiene, political stability, cuisine, sanitation facilities, cleanliness, and business practices, among other things, may be deemed far inferior to those found in most industrialized nations. Further, I am aware and accept that travel to such areas involves these and other elements of risk above and beyond those that would normally be encountered in industrialized nations. As a participant in a group tour, I understand that due to the nature of the destinations to which Djoser, Inc., organizes tours, and the necessity of the long lead times required to organize such tours, situations such as the following can and might be expected to occur: changes in tour leader assignments; changes in sequence or timing of the itinerary; and/or changes in accommodations and/or transport. I understand further that due to the above stated reasons, Djoser, Inc. cannot guarantee exact adherence to any itinerary or itineraries that have been provided. In consideration of, and as part payment for, the right to participate in the trip, and the activities, services, and food arranged for me by Djoser, Inc., in connection with the trip, I have and do hereby fully assume all risk of illness, injury, property damage, emotional trauma, and death, and hereby fully and forever release Djoser, Inc., and its agents, officers, directors, employees, successors, assigns, and associates from any and all actions, claims, or demands which might result in any way or from any cause, whether or not specifically named herein, related to my participation in the trip. I agree that the foregoing obligation is binding upon me personally, as well as upon my heirs, executors and administrators, and all members of my family, including minors. I also acknowledge that I have been informed that Djoser, Inc. is acting in an agency capacity in making travel arrangements and affirm that neither Djoser, Inc., nor any of its agents, officers, directors, employees, successors, assigns and associates has any responsibility or liability arising from failure on the part of any contractors, including transportation companies, retained by Djoser, Inc., in connection with its trip to perform their contracts of carriage except for reimbursement for ground services contracted for, but not provided due to error or omission on the part of Djoser, Inc., or any of their contractors. I understand and acknowledge that all fares of passage of travel and rates quoted have been quoted in good faith, but are subject to change at the sole discretion of Djoser, Inc. I agree that I shall bring any claim that I may have against Djoser, Inc., within one year of the date the claim arose. I have carefully read this document and fully understand its contents. I am aware that this is a release of liability between Djoser, Inc. and me, and sign it of my own free will on behalf of my heirs and myself. By signing this document, it is my intent to release, waive, and indemnify all of the Released Parties from all liability connected with my participation in the trip and to personally assume all risk of injury or death. I also acknowledge that I have carefully read the section on cancellations and refunds, and agree to all stated conditions therein.

Cancellation Conditions

1) You have the right to cancel a booked tour by sending Djoser a letter by certified mail. In this event the following penalties apply:
Cancellation receipt dated 56 or more days prior to departure - Penalty: Forfeit of the application fee.
Cancellation receipt dated 55 to 28 days prior to departure - Penalty: Forfeit of 25% of the tour fare.
Cancellation receipt dated 27 to 14 days prior to departure - Penalty: Forfeit of 50% of the tour fare.
Cancellation receipt dated 13 to 7 days prior to departure - Penalty: Forfeit of 75% of the tour fare.
Cancellation receipt dated 6 days or less prior to departure - Penalty: Forfeit of the full amount of the tour fare.

2) Djoser has the right to cancel a trip 25 days prior to departure. This would occur, for instance, if on a group trip, we have insufficient trip participation. In this event, we would discuss an alternative with you or give you a full restitution of the tour fare. Other incidents may be  natural disaster or political crisis that prevents travel in the area.  Djoser will not be responsible for any loss resulting from cancellation or changes in international gateways or travel dates, penalties for canceled domestic add-on flights (if you have arranged this flight or should you miss your flight). Therefore, we suggest you avoid booking tickets that bear high cancellation penalty charges.

In most cases, cancellation insurance covers these costs. However, we urge you to check your policy. Djoser works in association with TRAVELEX. More information about the TRAVELEX insurance package is covered in this brochure. Participants can change their selected tour to another tour in our brochure eight weeks prior to departure. In this event, the cost of the trip will be adjusted according to the cost of the new trip, plus an administration charge of $50 will be charged for each individual in your party who has changed a reservation. The new trip must be booked within one year of the original scheduled departure date in order to transfer your initial payments. Trips that fall on dates in the following calendar year may be subject to price increases.
