During these trips to the Azores we visit the islands of Faial, Pico, Sao Jorge and Sao Miguel. These isolated islands are Portuguese and arose from volcanic activity, thus they are rich in lush craters, bright deep crater lakes and hot springs in a pleasant, subtropical climate.
